Viherasema Ltd. is a company based in Finland dedicated in pushing forward the concept of urban farming.

The company launched its latest innovation called the ZENGROW wall garden which supports the urban gardening movement in the center of Helsinki, Finland. The ZENGROW wall garden is inside a new trendy city center restaurant called Bravuria. The wall garden uses clean hydroponic greenhouse techniques.

“We are very proud of our new wall garden concept! We have created a totally new approach of urban gardening where a public restaurant can use it as a fresh green decoration element and at the same time get the benefit of locally grown fresh herbs all year round”, says Pasi Lindberg founder and managing director of Viherasema Ltd.

There are 30 places for small pots and different salad and herb varieties can be grown easily. Automatic nutrient rich water circulation and plant lights make an ideal growing environment for the plants. The inside temperature of the restaurant will be optimal for the plants all year round.

A similar system can be built almost in any location and even in private homes.
