Texas State Representative introduces urban agriculture bills

Borris L. Miles was first elected to serve as the TX State Representative for District 146 in the House of Representatives in November of 2006. Most recently, he was again selected as the Democratic Nominee for District 146; having won the TX Democratic Primary for the seat in March of this year.
He is a lifelong resident of Houston; growing up in Sunnyside where he attended Jack Yates High School, “Home of the Mighty LIONS”! After high school, he received the Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Criminal Science from Sam Houston State University.
