Duron Chavis, Coordinator at McDonough Community Garden opened the series with introductory comments on urban agriculture then introduced Vickie Campbell, Coordinator of Community Gardens for the City of Richmond, Virginia. Vickie showed slides of local community gardens in Richmond and variety of other images related to the benefits of organically grown food.
